Hmm...
I wanted this to be the painting that made me into George Stubbs. Of course it hasn't. I haven't done anything quite so realistic without referencing before this though, I believe. Not that that's saying much. It's huge, the photoshop file, I mean, it's many pixels wide... I used a very traditional style as I'm trying to teach myself to paint traditionally..so it's all one layer. And I know I'm rambling way too much but I think I'm trying to subconsciously stop myself uploading it. I'm never as proud of things when they're 'finished' as I expect to be. But as this has been an ongoing project for ages, feel free to critique and I'll improve it. I want it to be a sort of showpiece, like Ooo look what I can paint. Only it's not quite there yet. Maybe in a year or two when I've improved more I'll go back to it and really make it decent. Maybe it's not worth it. Maybe my head is a large guava. Anyway. Enjoy.
looks like an oilpainting, even though it's digital...well done
the head, neck and shoulder area are especially great, but there's something funny about the two front legs (from the fetlocks and down) I just can't put my finger on what
This is teh sexy and is covered in the awesomesauces of life. Maybe the area around the hooves could be neatened up a little? Just made clearer, but other than that.. it's absolutely teh sexy <3
wow! this is absolutly gorgeous! my only critique would be the poll is not as detailed as the rest of the horse. Add a little more detail here and it will be perfect!

ooh!! very cool!! the only thing I could even remotely find wrong with it is how the right, hind leg seems off somehow.... I think maybe its thickness....*shrugs* I dunno, I know nothing about drawing horse anatomy this good, so ignore me!! ^^ I love the piece though!!
