Gash, I love these, they're unbelievably helpful.
The only thing is the front hoof that's nearest to us looks a bit wrong... it might just be me but I thought they normally a little less square and pointed more downwards...

Actually it's prolly just me ^^;

I think the original hoof is a better shape than mine... but I've always unbelievably lazy/inaccurate when it comes to hooves. I don't know why, it's like I just don't bother, and so I never get better at it. I have a plan which is to make myself draw 500 of them. THEN I will know how to do it! :XD:

if its supposed to be piaffe, the leg was right as it was, as there is much more weight on the back, and the horse sits down more on his hocks, hope that helps :D

I know nothing about piaffes and stuff, but the close foreleg is very lax...should it be drawn up?...Or is that my insanity?

And I agree the hooves in general are not uberful, worship-worthy, arts of awesome. Fantastic but not uberful, worship-worthy, arts of awesome :D

it does help! Though I've already looked at it and figured it out a bit better but... well at least I learned something new :XD:

I find it quite amusing that my redlines always need redlining themselves :P It won't stop me though.

My hooves are never like that :no: I've really got to concentrate on figuring them out one of these days..

The main problem with the front foreleg is that the hoof isn't tucked under and it should be angled inwards a bit more. It's also too straight from the knee up. (in my redline at least) But I think its height is about right...those two factors probably make it look iffy.

oh wait - I just watched a video of piaffe, having only looked at pictures previously, and the legs do pretty much resemble each other in height at the peak of the movement. The hindleg just rises a lot slower, hence showing up in photographs as being lower.
